Step 1: The Gospel
The Good News of Jesus Christ
Has anyone ever told you that God loves you and that He has a wonderful plan for your life? I have a real quick, but important question to ask you. If you were to die this very second, do you know for sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you would go to Heaven?
Let me quickly share with you what the Holy Bible reads. It reads “for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” and “for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”. The Bible also reads, "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us“ and "whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." And you’re a “whosoever” right? Of course you are; all of us are.
I’m going to say a quick prayer for you. Lord, I pronounce blessings over those reading this page. Jesus, do a quick work in their heart and make Yourself real to them. If they have not received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, I pray they will do so now.
If you would like to receive the gift that God has for you today, say the following prayer with your heart and lips out loud. Say: "Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart. Forgive me of my sin. Wash me and cleanse me. Set me free. Jesus, thank You that You died on the cross for me for the penatly of my sins. I believe that You are risen from the dead and that You’re coming back again for me. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Give me a passion for the lost, a hunger for the things of God and a holy boldness to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m saved; I’m born again, I’m forgiven and I’m on my way to Heaven because I have Jesus in my heart."
As a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I tell you today that all of your sins are forgiven. Always remember to run to God and not from God because He loves you and has a great plan for your life.

Each day spend time talking to God in prayer. Thank Him for the blessings in your life, Praise Him for His goodness, and pray for the needs in your life, for family, friends, and others, for situations in the world, and for whatever you need from Him. The Lord cares and listens when you pray.
Put on some worship music and spend time singing along or you could close your eyes and meditate on Him as you love Him from your heart.

Take time to read the Bible each day. If you don't know where to start we can help with that. Send us an email and we can get you some helpful materials.
I always suggest to start in the book of Mark located in the New Testament.
For a Bible reading plan you could put a bookmark at the beginning of Genesis and another at the beginning of the book of Matthew in the New Testament. You could read little from each section which will get you reading through the Old & New Testaments at the same time. Read one Psalm and Proverb a day and in a year's time you will have read through the entire Bible.

Prioritize going to church and connecting with other believers that are walking their journey with Christ as well. There are usually things that will come up, or situations in life that can distract us from going, but it's important set your heart on going.
We all need fellow believers, our family in Christ, around us to encourage us in our walk. None of us were meant to journey this path alone.
